ASTMH welcomes its new Chief Operating Officer, Steve Croll, whose role is to oversee the IT, finance/accounting, HR and operational functions of ASTMH, ensuring smooth and efficient operations to support the goals of the members of the Society. Prior to ASTMH, Steve spent over 24 years with international development and relief organizations. He has worked with Relief International, Tetra Tech ARD, PATH, Pathfinder and The Futures Group. He has an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a BA from Occidental College.
“Steve’s background in international and domestic management working with NGOs, public and private sectors is a skill set that will serve ASTMH now and in the future,” said CEO Karen A. Goraleski. “Living long-term in Egypt and Cambodia, working in low-income countries in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America brings an understanding of the diseases that are the focus of ASTMH.”
