The year has been filled with news about global health—the challenges and the opportunities. ASTMH would like to recognize the best reporting in the areas of tropical medical and global health during the previous 12 months.
The ASTMH Communications Award recognizes excellence in tropical medicine storytelling in the news media. Currently, we are accepting nominations for stories published and broadcast between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.
Eligible works must be submitted in English or have English subtitles. They must be published in or aired on a recognized news outlet, such as newspapers, magazines, TV, radio and their associated websites. Journal articles, newsletters, blogs, and YouTube videos are ineligible.
