ASTMH Welcomes Students and Trainees

One in three attendees at the ASTMH Annual Meeting is a trainee, and there are special membership trainee categories (individual and school-group) for Society membership and Annual Meeting registration. In addition, ASTMH is committed to fostering career development of global public health trainees and supports a number of career development fellowships including:

ASTMH also distributes competitive Travel Awards to support attendance at the the Annual Meeting, as well as a Young Investigator Program and Awards, career development sessions, sessions on how to write manuscripts or grants and give presentations, and social events for trainees. ASTMH also provides a forum for trainees to meet and interact with leaders in the field and to identify and work with potential mentors.
