Announcing the Society's Newly Elected Leadership

 

November 19, 2020 – The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene has announced Julie Jacobson, MD, as its new President. Dr. Jacobson is a managing partner at in Seattle.

 

She succeeds Joel G. Breman, MD, DTM&H, FASTMH, who is retired from the Fogarty International Center, National Institutes of Health. , of the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team in London, is President-Elect.

 

The Society also welcomed three new Board members: , United States; , Brown University in Providence, RI; and , Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta.
