The Global Health Delivery Project at Harvard University

July 12, 2012 · No Comments

The Global Health Delivery Project at Harvard, a joint initiative of the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, has a new collection of 26 Harvard Business School-style teaching cases in global health delivery. The cases put readers in the shoes of decision-makers to simulate real-life experiences and push readers to first identify the problems, then analyze them and think about how manage the challenges of health programs in a given context. Case themes include the principles of global health strategy and management; the complexities surrounding implementation, expansion and sustainability; and the role of leadership. Each case includes supplemental materials in the form of exhibits and appendices and has an acoompanying teaching note to guide instructors in evoking rich classroom discussion. All materials are available at no cost online.
