Inside ASTMH

The Society mourns the loss of 2020 President Joel G. Breman, MD, DTPH, FIDSA, FASTMH,  a dedicated leader in the smallpox eradication program, a pioneer in the discovery of the Ebola virus, and part of the global fight to control and eliminate malaria, among many other scourges.

Deadline: April 24. Each year, ASTMH recognizes the outstanding  work of upcoming researchers through the  presentation of the Young Investigator  Award, a yearly competition held during the first day of the Annual Meeting. This award encourages young scientists to pursue careers  in various aspects of tropical disease research.

This list of resources should not be considered as any endorsement by ASTMH, CDC/Division of Parasitic Disease and Malaria, CLIA, any accrediting body, nor should it be considered comprehensive.

The Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers' Health exan will take place September 30 - October 20 at more than 1,350 testing centers globally. Register by June 17.
