Grand Challenges in Global Health
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
As part of its
commitment to the Grand Challenges in Global Health initiative, the Bill
& Melinda Gates Foundation is now accepting letters of inquiry (LOI)
for a new $12 million grant program. This program seeks to validate
biomarkers for use in developing a low cost, simple to use diagnostic
for tuberculosis that quickly provides accurate results in low-resource
settings.
Letters of inquiry will be
accepted through March 31, 2011, 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time Zone. A full

University of California, San Diego (UCSD)
Center for AIDS Research (CFAR)
Grants for international HIV/AIDS
research available to investigators in resource-limited settings.
Collaboration with a UCSD CFAR investigator is required. Click here for details.

Program
Grants for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research,
specifically for innovative proposals designed to elucidate the factors
that may explain the low incidence of IBD in developing areas of the
