Grand Challenges in Global Health
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

As part of its commitment to the Grand Challenges in Global Health initiative, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is now accepting letters of inquiry (LOI) for a new $12 million grant program. This program seeks to validate biomarkers for use in developing a low cost, simple to use diagnostic for tuberculosis that quickly provides accurate results in low-resource settings.

Letters of inquiry will be accepted through March 31, 2011, 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time Zone. A full description of this new Biomarkers grant program and LOI instructions are available at http://www.grandchallenges.org/biomarkers/ajtmh.

Center for AIDS Research (CFAR)
