ASTMH Member-Get-A-Member Campaign

Our Member-Get-A-Member Campaign continues for 2011! We know that the best form of membership recruitment comes from personal referrals, because only you can communicate to your colleagues what ASTMH does for you, your career and the tropical medicine field. Each new member you recruit enhances and strengthens ASTMH, and a growing ASTMH means:

more networking opportunities
stronger advocacy voice for global health programs
unlimited long-term potential for the Society.

Here’s how the ASTMH Member-Get-A-Member Campaign works:

1) Simply recruit or refer a new member to the Society. As a thank you for helping ASTMH to grow, you will receive your choice of a 16-oz. ASTMH coffee mug or 100% cotton T-shirt. Each time you refer a new member, you will be eligible to receive one of these items.

2) Forward the new member application to a colleague, or direct them to the Society’s online member application. Make sure to tell them to identify you on the line titled "Name of Referring Member." You can also send your name and your recruit's name to Buffy Finn, member services administrator, at bfinn@astmh.org, after your recruit has submitted the application, to ensure you receive your gift.

Recruiting a new member is easy. When you interact with colleagues at your job, at conferences or anywhere, just let them know how you have benefited from your membership in ASTMH. We are proud to launch the Member-Get-a-Member campaign, and we’re thrilled that you are a part of it. Together, we can achieve an even stronger and more beneficial ASTMH.
